The 55 ha estate is located on the slopes of the Esclans valley, with an East-South-East exposure. The well-drained Permian soils and rocks, clay and sandstone of wine red color, give the soil undeniable qualities for the cultivation of the vine.The grape varieties linked to the quality of the soils, the equipment and the wine-making techniques, have earned it its designation as a "cru classé" in 1955.The vines are carefully maintained using traditional methods with regular ploughing, without the use of weed killers, insecticides or synthetic chemicals. Because of the work done in the vineyards and in the cellar, the wines have been labeled organic since 1990 and regularly win medals in renowned national competitions.
